Rail Cleaning

The unit cleans the rail head of rust and grime on old rail allowing for efficient metal to metal contact and improves rail detection.

• It suits all 3 gauges
• Insulated
• Runs at 3,000rpm
• Requires low oil flow to run
• 600kg attachment

Designed to clamp directly over the head of the rail, and is a means of lifting lengths of rail.

Rail Scissors include

• 2 x 4.7ton Bow shackles & 1 x 12 ton Bow Shackle + Ring
• Maximum Working Load Limit (WLL): 4.75 tonne

The Rail Dog is a rolling rail anchor designed for railway bridge maintenance and elevated rail work. Available in two sizes to suit both standard and smaller rail profiles. Mounted directly to the rail head, the Rail Dog provides a mobile fall-arrest anchor that travels along the rail as the user moves, allowing continuous protection while working along the track.

Harrybilt Engineering will manufacture rail trailers to specific customer requirements, we also manufacture a standard range of trailers including flat and sleeper deck, 3m and 4m in length.

Options:

• Sleeper Top or Flat Top
• Tipper bodies
• Fold down ramps for loading bobcat or excavator etc

• Container twist locks to suit ballast bins, containers etc
